Oscar is gone. He died peacefully and naturally earlier today in his favorite sleeping spot surrounded by people he loved and that loved him. He was not in pain and spent his last 24 hours cuddling and happy. He was responsive and wanted chin scratches (the best kind) right up to the last few minutes. When we rescued each other, they said he might live 2 or 3 more years, but we had 8 wonderful years together. I will miss him every day and am horribly sad.

I'm so so sorry it was Oscar's time to cross but what a WONDERFUL life he had because of your love. Remember, he's not gone, you just have to hug him differently.

Fly free sweet baby....

Farewell sweet Oscar kitty. I'm sure your antics have warmed your momma's heart many times these last 8 years. You will be missed but always close to momma's heart.

Fly free little Oscar, and be sure to get your hot fudge sundae, whipped cream, double cherry on top and lots of chopped nuts when you get to the Rainbow Bridge. You can eat anything you want to now.

What a loving way to help Oscar to the Rainbow Bridge. I always told my kitties that it was ok to go rub the feet of Jesus. We are sad with you and joyful for the love and attention to his needs you gave him each purring moment.

Sending you hugs.

I am so sorry. Fly free sweet Oscar. May you soar high and wide and land softly. You are much loved and will be sorely missed. Until you meet again.

I am so very sorry. What a wonderful way for Oscar to fly over the rainbow to the bridge, surrounded by those he loves and who loved him. My condolences. Fly free sweet Oscar and land softly new angel wings_cat
