??Oreo and Prednisilone Question...worried

Happy Holidays,

Oreo had been doing great, and then as of yesterday we switched him from Prednisone to Prednisilone (which is the preferred drug). His numbers have jumped up from mostly 100's to mostly 200's since then. I'm really worried. Can switching steroids cause his numbers to rise? Has anyone had experience with these meds? I'd really appreciate your advise!

Any change can effect numbers. Give it a couple of days to settle down. Also, it helps to keep in mind that you can always adjust the insulin dose to compensate for the steroid.
