So, I first bought a Freestyle Lite meter for my kitty to test, and got the strips from eBay, that were from the UK. (Dr. Pierson recommended getting from eBay)
There were a few times her numbers read 30 something and she acted fine so I decided to get the Alphatrak2 with their test strips.
However Ive read some people suggest the Reli-on brand from Walmart, and after seeing HOW cheap it was- 9$ I think for 100 strips when I pay 50$ for 50 strips for the Alphatrak2??!!? Are we sure its that accurate? Why is it SOOOO much cheaper- does it use a lot of blood? I like how little blood the Alphatrak2 uses, but I also want to be able to test more frequently.
There are also 2 different brands of Reli-on at Walmart. How do I know which one to chose?
Im still not sure I want to switch because of how many meters I have already bought
