one or two meters for donation

Hi All,

I have one, possibly two, RilionPrime meters (without strips or lancets), that are/will be unopened, to give to someone in need. There was a screw-up (by mom, sheesh!) when ordering one from Walmart (got 2 instead of 1) and the other was due to a change in delivery date (it was too long but couldn't cancel...still waiting on it). While Mom Lydette is on disability my dad has a great job so rather than sending them back for a refund I thought it might make sense to donate the meters to kitty parents having a tough time. Is this feasible? Should I do it through one of the orgs mentioned in the Donation section of the site or is there another way? confused_cat

Hi Lydette (and Simmie!),

Aw, that is really kind of you.

Do you have a spare meter yourself..? It can be handy to have a spare just in case the first meter meets with an accident (or disappears into that mysterious black hole in the universe along with all those odd socks...)

But if you would still like to donate supplies then you can post on the 'Supply Closet' forum here at FDMB.
That is, unless someone spots your post on the health forum first!

Hi! Thank you so much for your help. Maybe I will keep one in case of emergencies but I would like to donate the other so I'll go to the supply closet tomorrow. Simmie simply insists!
