Hello all! I have a recently diagnosed kitty (7/29) and we have been trying to work out the best way to handle the insulin/timing. She was put on Lantus Solostar pen 1 unit every 12 hours. The problem though is that I have a trash schedule, where I often have to work 14 plus hours and would not be able to give it on time. The vet said that there is a once-daily Lantus but it is expensive?
I was wondering if anyone uses it? How expensive is it? How are your kitties doing on it? Any tips/help would be super appreciated!
