Oliver continued… +5 bg is 62. Abnormally low for him.

Hi it’s us again…. Looking for a little guidance as Oliver’s numbers are much lower than what we have been seeing.

Possibly because we didn’t get him his mid morning snack. Currently feeding a little regular low carb food and planning to recheck in 20 min. @Suzanne & Darcy

Oh yes. It looks like he’s breaking another bounce. So they can drop lower. At this number just feed a little LC food and retest (as you already are planning to do.)

We are back up to 106. He had eaten his normal 1/2 a can with his insulin this morning. He usually had a snack around +2.

Yes. It’s best to make sure not to skip the +2 snack regardless of how high the test number you may see at +2 (which is a great test to get because it gives you an indication of how the rest of the cycle will go.) plus 4 is also an important snack.

I know it’s a LOT. It’s sometimes hard to adjust everything to a new schedule. And sometimes you don’t see the point of it… until you do.

Thank you for keeping up with us… He was at 179 for his pre shot test so we will skip insulin tonight and see where he is at in the morning.
