Have some food stored away in case of low numbers, is this food pictured expired or is that the date it was made,dont wanna throw out if still good??

Not sure, but I’d say “when in doubt, throw it out” - don’t want to make kitty more sick if numbers are already low.

I agree. Instead buy a few cans of high carb canned food to use if you're cat goes too low. It has a longer shelf life than dry.
