this may seem like a stupid question but I thought Id ask..

Picked up some treats for jackie. We have had A LOT of success getting him to do uncomfortable medical things because we give him couple treats before and after. If he knows he's getting treats, he'll tolerate just about anything..

My question is I picked up extremely low calorie treats for him..Now it would make sense to say, ( and correct me if I am wrong), if they are low in cals, they would be low in carbs..is this right or wrong?

I also picked up those nifty little freezed dried treats you can get in like chicken...LOVES them

Sorry I havent been on much..It's almost time to graduate from school so I have had assigments up the WAZOO

Not necessarily. It all depends on the ingredients. If there are any fruits or vegetables, grains or tapioca or starch, they would not be low carb. If they are pure meat, then they should be ok.

Oh yes, those freeze dried pieces of chicken are favorites. You can teach you cat to do tricks with those.

Here is a list of other low carb treats for your cat. low carb healthy treats

Hope you managed to get through all that with flying colors and get to take a break very soon.

I was given low cal treats by the rescue group that brought me my foster kitty. Then I noticed that the second ingredient was chickpea flour which they said was a crushed up vegetable. I did the research and found that it was very high carb.

Freed dried or dehydrated treats are the best low carb treat as long as they don't add any sugar or powder.

Can you list the ingredients?
