Just wanted to let you know that just because we've moved to a new neighborhood doesn't mean Ruby isn't up to her old tricks.
Ru got her second dose of Lantus this morning and at +4.5 she's hit 80.
Yes, 80. Not 380, not 280, not 180...just 80. ohmygod_smile


I do love this girl!
 
Wow, I guess she likes the Lantus! Green is sure purdy on a nice girl like Ruby.

She's liking the Lantus a little too much right now! She's at 72 on an AlphaTrak, which is probably around 40 on human meters.
We've cracked open a can of HC and she's loving that gravy!
 
Never a lack of excitement with these kitties....good luck, you know what to do. Ping us if you need anything....But you should prob be on with some Lantus folks since it’s pretty different than what we are used to....
 
I agree with Donna....you need to post in Lantus and put your BG in the heading and ask for some advice. Lower numbers can last much longer with Lantus, I would seek input from the Lantus forum.
 
Pretty good, actually. She dipped to 72 at around +4.5. I gave her some LC food then a bit of HC gravy.
She rose to 92 and then surfed for a few hours. At +9 she was at 176. I haven't tested her for the PMPS yet.
I'm going to reduce her dose a bit tonight but I'm crossing my fingers that she surfed level enough to avoid too big of a bounce.

I had pretty figured this would happen at some point this weekend. I'm glad it didn't happen in the middle of the night! (yet)

You all know that you are the ones who prepared me to deal with days like this, right? :YMHUG:
 
That sounds really great! We’ll cross our fingers and pink kitty toes for no bounce. Good on ya!
