Congratulations. When my zoe got diagnosed it happened at a very rock bottom moment in my life between work life, personal life, my father battling cancer, and then my beloved kitty becoming diabetic, I couldn't imagine what more this world could do to take me down another peg. Someone or something must have been looking out for me because zoe was only insulin dependent for 1 week. it was like a miracle when the vet said no more insulin. i had to pinch myself. Im sure someone is bound to say it but hes technically not in remission until 2 weeks of steady numbers. keep a close eye and if not already get him on low carb wet food. Zoes been good for 2 months now and so far so good. :)
 
I almost missed this! Big Hoss is such a cutie. He sure did "get over" insulin in a dramatic way. Congratulations!

Big Hoss, I made you a catnip cake with tuna-cream frosting. I really wanted it to have blue eyes, but I didn't have the right food coloring.
