Off topic - finding foster for diabetic cat? (Not me)

Hefner has diabetes, and requires insulin injections every day to regulate his blood sugar levels, but despite this, he remains a loving kitty with a calm disposition.

I'd love some ideas. My heart is hurting. I donated Maverick's supplies to this shelter and its where I got Victoria and Henry. My heart was completely closed to him at the time though. It was so soon after losing Maverick.

Edit: I guess its a non issue for me fostering - DH just said absolutely no way for a third cat.

How about contacting Venita (Diabetic Cats in Need)? She finds homes and possibly fosters for diabetic kitties.

Good idea. I thought DCIN was in the US only though. I will send her an email. He's in a no kill shelter but its a hard environment for him.

I pm'd DCIN. I let them know I'd drive him anywhere and even pay adoption fees. I guess he'd have to stay close by if it was a foster.
