Taking Fritz to the vet he's still pooping black tar like.
I need to know how to show the SS to the vet for Fritz #'s.
Just want to loop in the vet too.
Thand you!

I printed Squeak's out and took it with me. I was able to highlight just the blood glucose part of the chart on the computer (ie. excluded the additional notes/comments area) and told it to print just the selection.

Hoping you can get things sorted out for Fritz!

You're welcome!

It also looks better if you tell it to print in landscape format, rather than portrait. I was able to fit the whole width of the spreadsheet on the paper that way.

Just got home. He was very considerate and after discussing all the options we need to get a stool sample into him.
With Fritz not showing signs of an emergency and everything else ok , I was ok with his direction. He has a better understanding and approach to the FD then any of the other vets we have seen.
Now we sit and wait for Fritz....
Thank you for your concern:cat:

You can also just send the link to your vet in an email....that way they can look at the spreadsheet any time they want to and you don't have to use all that expensive color toner in your printer ;)
That's what I did. It also enables the vet to check out the SS any time you may need them to, i.e., for a phone consultation, etc. :)

Yes, could be gi bleed, I feed him raw food with liver that could cause dark stool, parasites or infection possibly the insulin he said lets not jump to any conclusion till he sees the poo.
He stated that usually but not always with GI bleed you should see vomiting and diarrhea which Fritz has none of those symptoms.
Now we wait on Fritz to poo with him it can be 4 to 6 days.

What was his reaction to the black tarry stools? Anything he had seen before?
He did not mention it. He did say at this point he wasn't too worried as Fritz had no other signs of sickness and wasn't in immediate danger. That's kinda why I waited this long thinking it would turn normal soon. For peace of mind I want to make sure it is not serious and waited too long. I hope I didn't cause this by making my own food. I follow Lisa Piersons recipe to a tee. I notice that some of the liver doesn't blend completely but I didn't think it matter as cats eat it straight out of their prey with no side effects. He didn't like the fact that I feed raw uncooked. I'm wondering if I should just feed Fritz Fancy Feast Chicken Classics and wean him off raw food ????
