OFF THE JUICE and now having BIG numbers !!

Hi all...
Christopher has been OTJ for over a year and has had BRILLIANT numbers..... HOWEVER..... in the past couple of days his BG has spiked. YESTERDAY after a meal it was 184 and today BEFORE eating it was 238!! When should I begin to worry?? I am going to test daily and see what happens but at what point should I begin to give insulin again??? It has been so long since I have had to worry about giving insulin. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some advise. Thanks

As I said in the other thread, test again about 3 hours after feeding

If the number goes down, his pancreas is still doing at least a little of the work but yeah, it's starting to look like he may be coming out of remission.

How are his teeth? Dental disease is one of the #1 reasons for cats losing remission.

How long has it been since he has been to the vet? It could be either dental issues or an infection that is causing the higher numbers.

When Dusty's numbers crept up a year ago it was due to dental issues. He had an infection and once cleaned up and removed he came back down to normal.
