Odd Twitch and Behavior

Hi, all. I was hoping I could get some insight that could calm my fears about my cat's health. I've noticed lately that my 5-year old boy, Oscar, has developed this sort of random twitch in one of his front legs (can't remember which, but I'm pretty sure its the left). For the past couple of weeks I've thought nothing of it, but I feel like it's become more noticable in the last few days. I might be paranoid, because I lost my other cat in January to cardiomyopathy which totally came out of nowhere.

I'd like to think I'm being paranoid, but he also doesn't like to play fight with me much in the last couple of days. Usually he loves to do that bicycle kick quite vigorously with his back legs (I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about), but now he just kinda half-heartedly does it a little, and then gets up and walks away. Today, he bit me pretty hard when I tried to engage him in a play fight (he always bites, but not this hard). And I noticed a little bit of the twitch in one of his back legs...Do you guys think I should be concerned? Or maybe he's just having some off days? :YMSIGH:

Sorry I really can't help you with the twitch. Do you think he jumped and landed wrong? Just a thought. If it gets worse I would take him to the vet. Does he have sugar? If he does it may be a little neuropathy.

Wish I could help. Sometimes my Sampson gets a little weak in the legs and they shake a bit but he is 17 years old with artheritis.

I have occasionally seen twitches in one of J.D.'s front legs, and I once saw his back leg twitching when he was laying down.
J.D. has been doing this for years, so I am kind of used to it, now. It did concern me in the beginning, but the vet could find nothing wrong.
J.D. hasn't really played since I brought his sister Ginger home as a kitten. Ginger did all the playing and J.D. just stopped that day.
I'd watch your kitty, and if it doesn't get worse, maybe just ask your vet about it at your next appointment.

He may have injured it jumping. Leg shaking/quick twitch often indicates pain. If you don't see a return to normal behavior soon, you might get a vet to look at the leg. Eating ok and everything?

Thanks for your input, guys. He's still eating and using his litter box the way he normally does. He also still plays with his toys and pounces on them with no visible issue. I feel like I'm hyper-aware of every little move he makes since I'm now watching for them, but I'll take him to the vet soon just to make sure everything's alright.
