He lost a fang over a year ago and I think he may be ready to lose another.
I just noticed it about a few hours ago.
Obie started making funny facial expressions and acting like he was trying to bust out a tooth or something.
I have checked youtube and found video of other cats doing what he is doing .
I am going to call the vet tomorrow and take him in.
Is there anything I can do to help his mouth pain in the meantime?

not unless you have pain medicine for a cat....

if he has trouble eating tonite....
maybe a jar of baby food.... meat only ...usually stage 1 ...will just be meat and gravy....

He is still eating fine. I just know he feels like crap. I filmed his behavior to show the vet. Thank you for replying. I was curious if certain temperatures of food were better, like would cold food soothe or make worse? I dunno.

He isn't too sore to eat but he is hiding in the upstairs closet which tells me he feels like dung.

I really like the dissolvable homeopahics and they are tiny and easy to pill--they dissolve fast and no taste-(not the balls/pellets although they work the others dissolve very fast so even if you get it on the gums and hold mouth shut it will work) I like the Hylund brand-
I would use arnica if it was my kitty--Dre would get 3 pellets as needed (usually every 3-6 hours)
I am not sure if they have something specific for mouth pain but arnica is awesome--I would use both if they do-
Just my 2 cents:bighug:
