This was confirmed by Purina, the maker of Friskies

From Purina: This was a business decision to allow us to focus on expanding our Friskies recipes in 5.5 ounce cans in 2020

We can only hope their new recipes are diabetic friendly!

Interestingly, though, I just ran some numbers on some of their existing foods. Some of the gravy options, such as prime fillets and even some of the chunks in gravy look as though they come in at around 10% calories from carbs or less although they're listed as over on the last catinfo chart from 2017. So, the new flavors may not be much use, but according to the guaranteed analysis on some of their existing ones (reformulated maybe?) they may have reduced some carb percentages. When I get a chance, I'll set up a list - it'll be guaranteed analysis based, but I'll try to get all the options listed.

I haven't forgotten about this. When I started running numbers, using the guaranteed analysis, everything came up short by a full 30-40% on the total calories using the Scheyderweb calculator compared to what Purina quote as the total calories on their website. Because that makes the numbers way, way off, and the chances are those calories are mostly made up of fat making the carb counts significantly lower than they may appear I've asked for the real values from Purina so I can run calcs that will actually be useful to us all.
