I have heard very bad things about Angels Gate and Felix will not receive the care he needs. FELIX is an 8 year old diabetic, he is not a sickly cat whasoever…simple straight forward diabetic, neutered, negative for leuk/fiv AND A VERY SWEET BOY!!!

We MUST get Felix OUT of Angel’s Gate Hospice before it’s too late…The place is beyond crowded and unable to provide for the animals. The family was desperate… transport can be arranged. Felix is diabetic but that is NOT why he was placed…the family is losing everything…

“I put Felix at Angels Gate because I had to re home him immediately, I have since then heard some unsettling things about the place. My fiancé was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was in and out of the hospital for 2 months, he is just now starting to become stable. He was the bread winner, he obviously lost his job and we had to move from our apartment. Me my daughter and my fiancé are staying with my mother in a bedroom, they will not allow us to keep Felix they have cats with temperament problems that spray and financially we can’t afford Felix and my fiancé who does not have medical insurance. I am currently looking for work, I was afraid if no one would take him he would have to be put down. He is at Angels Gate until I can make better arrangements. Please HELP!” Sincerely, Brittney Bohuk

Oh no, I just realized this is where he is. I usually have no time for PETA but occasionally their investigations turn up animal abuse and I saw this post about their undercover investigation at Angels Gate with very disturbing video evidence. There is some kind of legal investigation underway now but that always takes forever while animals suffer.

We've got to get Felix out of there. Is there anyone in the area that can contact the original owners and take him in at least temporarily?
