I thought I was going to kill my cat shooting at 148 with .6u of insulin. Well, it's like I shot him water! He is 321 @+8.5. He's has gone consistently up all day. And, I doubt he will go down at +9 through 12. I What could I have done differently? Should I given him more at +2 when I saw that he was 253? I just feel like he must be feeling pretty badly going from 148 to 321 and if I give insulin now I will have to be shooting him at 3:30 AM everyday. I will shoot at 5pm and slowly get him back to 6am and 6 pm. Any ideas?

Sorry I'm late to the party (yes, my lousy ISP again). Bobbie, we already knew that Bubba would go high this daytime cycle, as you'd cut his dose
significantly (which was prudent, because of his low pre-shot # that wouldn't go up for you). Looks like you just shot a 1.8. You'll be monitoring, right? (You should.)

He did the ol' "hang-time" thing with his insulin this morning; very frustrating, I know :banghead: (have been there many times with Bat-Bat). It's anybody's guess what Bubba's # will do by tomorrow's AMPS on this slight increase - could do the hang-time again, or could bounce higher. I guess we'll just have to see. Get out those patience pants, girl! (This, too, will pass ...You know, like a kidney stone!)

I m needing those patient pants. Thinking part of the problem is he hunts and eats. Going to have to transition him to inside so I can control the calories/ insulin . Last night we got a mouse from him before he ate it. Thus, the lower number today, perhaps. It's worth a try.
