No idea how much would be in Felix's depot by now, but hopefully not quite enough for a day like yesterday. But it is exciting to see him working it, bless his little pancreas.

Thanks, all! From where he is now (+7=373), I've wondered if we just went too far too fast. But there was a day last week when he did this up/down-a-little/up pattern, and the next down was lime green, so we'll see.

I think the canned food is very likely a factor. When I transitioned Felix from high-carb dry to EVO dry, he continued to need increases up to 6.5 units despite far fewer carbs, so I was concerned that he might have a high-dose condition that food wasn't going to resolve. But his admitting that canned food is food and the switching on of his pancreas power switch happened at about the same time as one another. If the wet food isn't the actual cause, I expect it's supportive at least.

We're going out for my beloved's birthday tonight, so I'm glad that a dangerously low drop before PMPS isn't probable. But I won't be able to resist grabbing another test just before we head out the door!
