Hi. Lucy is diagnosed less than a month. He is on Lantus 1 twice a day. He hardly ate anything last night and this morning he barely ate. He just had a few bites. Should I still give him his insulin? His pupils are diluted also.

Dilated eyes could be any one or more of numerous things, including
hypoglycemia
stroke
high blood pressure
and probably more.

Go to the vet, as soon as possible.

Thank you. He didn't like the food. Lol. He is eating now. We are not home testing. I want to but I'm so scared. I'm barely able to do the shots. I'm bringing him to the vet.

If you add your city/state to your signature, folks can see if they might be near you and able to give you a hand learning to test.

I suggest testing an apple, then testing on your forearm to get a feel for the steps and get them into a smooth pattern. Then, when you test your cat, it is likely to go quite smoothly. Some folks find that mentally rehearsing the steps helps them learn them too; athletes sometimes use this to help reinforce their training.

n the upper left of the web page, there is a line which says User Control Panel. This is where you can adjust settings for how the board displays, your signature, get private messages, and so on.
Click on that.

A new page displays, with 6 tabs along the top edge. Take a look at each by clicking on the tab and notice the topics listed on the left under each one.
Click on the tab which says Profile. You'll see a list of 4 categories: Edit Profile, Edit Signature, Edit Avatar, Edit Account Settings.

You can click on Edit Profile to put in any details you want to share in the boxes given. When you are done, you click on Submit at the bottom of the boxes.

You can click on Edit Signature to put in some details you want to show up in each post you make. This is where you put your name, your cat's name, the insulin you are using, and any special notes such as diet limitations or other conditions which are present. You have only 255 characters, so be succinct! When you are done, you click on Submit at the bottom of the boxes.

I use my iPhone and don't see it. I will have to wait and look on a computer. Thanks.
