I can't understand why every cat in my house seems to be getting thin/bald patches on their fur. I have one guy who has a long-standing issue with allergies/over grooming/making himself bald... but now everybody seems to be having some patches of fur that are getting very thin. I just don't get it. We do not have fleas and everybody has been checked out for that. I'm getting ready to take the really allergic guy to the vet for a Depo shot (I've stalled on that one for a while but it's about the only thing that helps him). I wonder if it's food related? They've been eating the same food for years (Dave's Naturally Healthy Grain-Free Turkey and Giblets). I'm thinking of switching to the Wellness turkey and gibs (I believe it's low carb) but it costs a lot more. (I need to start making my own cat food, I think).

Thank goodness my sugar boy, Darcy, does not seem to be affected by this problem, but a bunch of the other cats are. They must be conspiring against me.
 
I haven't had them checked for that. I've never had those in my cats in my life before (and we are talking a LOT of cats!) Except ear mites, of course, which I haven't had a cat with for YEARS. My cats do not go outdoors either. I'm taking three cats to the vet tomorrow.
