Not diabetic related - how much food should a kitten eat?

Sassy is going through three or four cans of Fancy Feast a day, and begging for more constantly. She never seems full. I don't want her to get fat, but I don't want her to be hungry either. She rarely walks away with food left in the bowl.

Hi Rhonda! Given Sassy is a growing kitten and FF cans are only roughly 90 calories each (give or take depending on flavour) I think you are on the right track. I found the attached calorie requirements for kittens on the CatSite and it looks like depending on her weight, she may need more than 4 cans. It would of course also depend on how rambunctious she is.
