AMPS= 262 ( 2 units) 8;51 AM

+4= 59 , retest right away 49 feeding friskers beef with gravy ( 2;51 pm )

He is acting fine, this happened last Thursday to but I rushed to the vet

For now, yes. We want to see him holding steady though, so test again in 30 minutes. Looks like Bobbie's got you covered in the PZ forum, you can take down the 911's.

I freaked out the first time Pimp took a dive, too. :bighug:
It's amazing how easy it is to control their BG...it just takes commitment and knowledge.
Out of curiosity, what did the vet do for him last week when you rushed him in? Did he ever show any symptoms of hypo?

She did a health profile, according to them he was 96. but he freaks out in the car and I think it raised his number. he didnt show any signs at all. I was doing a curve that day and switching him to can food

Oh geez so you literally paid for nothing you couldn't have done at home, that sucks.
He may have started a bounce on the way to the vet, if you didn't feed his low numbers before leaving. Stress also could have been a factor.

The change in diet can make a huge difference in BG's. Make sure you keep testing every day!

Based on those numbers last week - on a higher dose - he will probably be just fine today. But please keep testing until you see two rising numbers.

As Bobbie suggested, a reduction is definetly in order.
