Noodle always gets lethargic after dose increase.

Noodle always seems to feel worse after his dose is increased, more lethargic, less sociable. Plus his numbers seem to either go up or not move at all. Has anyone else observed this and/or have a theory? My vet insists that we should have seen a sizeable drop in Noodle's BG after this 2 1/2 weeks. He was on .5 to start (see SS) and now is on 1.5 since yesterday. Thanks so much.
