Daniel has had kidney issues for a long time but with liquid Semintra we've gotten his numbers down from 24 to 19 to 17. He's on his last bottle of liquid Semintra and now we find out it's only available in pill form in Canada.
Daniel loves dairy products and used to get PEG (Polyethylene glycol 3350) in lactose free yogurt but he's not big on wet food, not easily fooled and I've nearly lost a finger pilling him in the past. Before I go looking does anyone in the U.S. know if it's still available in liquid form there? Thanks.

"an easy-to-give liquid formulation" Music to my ears! Thank you Dianne :cool:
If anyone here suffers from Hemorrhoids ask your pharmacist about Witch Hazel. It's also in "an easy-to-give liquid formulation" but not orally. :eek: :smuggrin: o_O

Compounding pharmacies have a terrible reputation in Canada. I had Noah's transdermal BUPE made up at a veterinary college.
Buyer beware.

The compounding pharmacy I use is great. Not on line, but a walk in one. They are right across from the hospital. I've used them for years. I got Neko's chicken flavoured bupe there, and lots of other meds since. A lot of the vets here deal with them too. I've never heard a bad thing about them.

Chewy ships to Canada now.

@Larry and Kitties
That's simply untrue Larry, the link you provided deals only with personal human medications.
A Canadian, Sir Frederick G Banting, perfected the development of insulin and sold the patent to the world for one dollar with the intent of not gouging people for a life saving drug. His heritage home is an hour away from here. You can thank greedy US conglomerations and their shareholders for jacking up the price to obscene levels.
Getting human prescriptions transferred from state to state or province to province can be a nightmare, I've been there. Not a single drop of insulin is produced in Canada, vets here order all of it from out of country. Even Chewy now exports to Canada. Canadians pay an average of $28US for a vial of insulin and less when you're a senior. With a minimal drug plan I pay zero for all my meds with some minimal exceptions. Being a socialist country is not the evil some orange-headed politicians would have you believe.
petsdrugmart.ca and a bunch of other companies all export their pet meds to Canada, I've already placed my order.

Hi Dickson~ Do you happen to know why it's so hard to get liquid Semintra now? It's basically sold in China. My fur ball is on her last bottle. I don't know what to do now.
