No insulin under 200

Hey all, my kitty just started insulin last Thursday and has been consistently in the 200s (ranging from 210-250) but this morning he was at 171 which is a great number to be at for just starting out I thought but I also decided not to give him insulin since he is still so new to this (and so are we) and we don't have a good reading on his patterns just yet. Should I do another test today for him just to see where he's at? How long after the first test should I try? Is this what they call a mid-cycle test, testing mid-day?

If you need dosing advice the members here need to see a spreadsheet in order to give you any advice

When you do create your spreadsheet if you don't give any insulin , in the unit cell or square you need to put NS which means No Shot :cat:
