Around 9 pm CL settled down and did not seem to be in any pain. At about 3:30 am the trips to the litter box started again. She has been getting in and out trying to pee. She still has blood in her urine. I did not try to take blood at all. I just fed her a 1/2 can FF that I souped up with a lot of water and then shot 2.5 units. She was still hungry so I gave her a little bit of raw that I again souped up with water. Since then all she has done is get in the box and get back out of the box. She is p'ing tiny tiny amounts with blood.
The vet opens at 7 am however the vet dont come in until around 9. Im going to leave my house at 8 and be sitting there waiting on him. There is NO doubt that she has a UTI!!

Fingers crossed for a good vet visit for Chicken Little today. Hope it's not a urinary tract blockage.

Thanks all for the well wishes. We have returned with antibiotics in hand. He said that CL has cystitis. He said that with the antibiotics she she be feeling better by Wed or Thursday and if not bring her back in. I'm pooped!! Been up with her late last night and very early this morning. I fed her some tuna with a lot of water mixed in so that she would forget her ordeal and she is sunbathing on the back porch. Im headed to the couch for a nap! :dizcat

Did he give you any pain meds? UTIs can be very painful. Also, ABs can cause diarrhea in a lot of cats, a probiotic a few hours after the AB helps restore the good bacteria that the AB indiscriminately destroys. Tess got frequent UTIs and Cosequin was recommended as it helps the bladder lining, also a cranberry/d-Mannose supplement. Knock on wood She hasn't had one in quite a while.
