Hi, all-
Nigel had his Vet appt this afternoon for his glucose check. I took it at home first---95 and then they took it 20 minutes later at the Vets office and it was 118. She had to poke him and wiggle around in the vein a couple times so he might have been a bit stressed. Unfortuneately both myself and the Vet forgot that Nigel was to have other bloodwork today to check his BUN/Crea, etc. since he was so ill back in March when he went hypo. I was dealing with another sick cat over the weekend so I never thought about additional bloodwork for Nigel. Since she didn't draw enough blood today, we are going to wait until next month....By the way, Nigel has had no insulin now for 9 weeks. I am thrilled! Not to the point of forgetting that he can become in need of insulin again but happy just the same. Everything else is going well for him. Thanks again for always being out there to help.
