Newly diagnosed diabetic cat, Kirby

Kirby seems to be doing good today. I gave him some time for middle meal....all protein, no carbs. I only gave one unit this morning.
I'm going to get more cat food tomorrow. Any suggestions? And treats, any suggestions? Please and thank you very much!!! , him. , me!!

Hi Katie, I'm glad Kirby is doing so well. For treats many of us like Pure Bites which is simply a freeze dried single protein such as chicken or salmon. You can get them at Petsmart or Petco. The dog ones are cheaper, so you can get those and just break them Into smaller pieces for Kirby. As for food, any low carb canned food is good. You can get Friskies Pate, Sheba, Fancy Feast Classics or go higher end and get Wellness GrainFree or Natures Variety Instinct.
