Could we ask what food owners of diabetic cats in UK find to be the most suitable, please.? Lila is 16 y and does have some moderate kidney disease but we are now dealing with diabetes as the main issue.

Many thanks for the links. Will get her on a better diet very soon. Vet mentioned adding bran to her food. Does anyone know if this is good to do or not?

Not heard of adding bran to a cat's food. Other members may have info on this. (Post a new thread on Feline Health asking about it if you don't get any bran info on this thread.)

If constipation's an issue then some members use psyllium husk or plain canned pumpkin.
