I would be concerned about the items I bolded for a diabetic, as they are carbs and sugars, how much hard to tell, without asking the company for the as fed values.

Also if your cat is lactose intolerant and/or has IB issues, the cottage cheese could be a problem.

If this is something you want to try, I would say go for the poultry over the fish product as it has less of the carb/sugared ingredients. And then be sure to test after feeding, to see what it does to the BG's.

Aside from that, the ingredients look good, especially for the poultry as it is using the real chicken, turkey, duck, etc. Just my thoughts on the product.

If you are looking for something new to try and experiment, check out Holistic canine caviar (yes I know it's says canine, just don't tell the cats) and Nature's Logic (while I know it has berries in it, it didn't affect Maui's BGs.)

I tried Nature's logic, because someone on the board talked about it and then a whole discussion ensued about the questionable ingredients (berries) and the owner came on the board and explained the logic (pardon the pun) behind why those ingredients were being used and I watched this conversation and then told him that I would be willing to try it, if he would send me a sample. Well, he sent me 6 full size cans (2 of each flavor) to try. And at first the girls went nuts for it, then decided it was too good for them and preferred the junkier friskies and FF.

The Holistic, they never liked and I tried mixing FF with it and they tolerated it. But who knows maybe your cats will like it. ;-)

Oh I just have one of the new pet stores here in town , trying to be the health store of pets and they carry all the
grain free type stuff.
I hadn't noticed the cottage cheese.
Thanks for pointing that one out.

I was just hoping someone else had the specs on it ....

A lot of the higher end stuff is still adding stuff we don't need or care about.
They must think it's important to their customers to "sound" healthy.....
