Hi all,
My name is Nikki and my furbaby is Oliver. He is an 8 yo orange tabby and he was diagnosed last week with diabetes. I kind of feel like I am doing this on my own because my vet was very nonchalant about the diagnosis and prescribed him insulin and told me to come back the following week. I have since done a TON of research and have purchased a glucometer (relion confirm) and have been trying to switch my dry food baby to wet food (and using Nature's Variety Instinct to help with the transition). I was happy to find this site and Dr. Pierson's site which have both been EXTREMELY helpful. Any and all tips and advice are welcome!
