I just reposted the question on a new thread with my correct email that has all of her informationHi Shana, we'd love to look at your Spreadsheet but I don't see any Signature information showing or SS link. Here are the instructions again: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/editing-your-signature-profile-and-preferences.130340/
If you missed an injection this morning, just treat it as a Fur Shot and resume schedule this evening.
. When were you going to try and do a curve? You might want to buy a human meter for day-to-day testing because the strips are so much cheaper and save the AlphaTrak for vet curves. Many people here do that to avoid friction with their vet but save $$ otherwise.I plan on doing a curve tomorrow since I will be home ALL day! The vet is supposed to call sometime today and check on her, they said she would check in on the 10th day. She has been on amoxicillin for 13 days now. Tomorrow she will have her last 2 doses. I think I have missed 3 doses overall with her hiding or me accidentally falling asleep after feeding timeI tried my best!
She probably was feeling my emotions cause there was a day I just sat and cried because I couldn't get it to draw enough blood and it kept saying error and I had to keep using new strips (not cheap ) I was getting so upset. I think I needed to take a few days away from doing the home testing for myself and her! lol. But the past 2 times, I got it in the first try, go me!
I have a feeling I'm going to end up switching to a human meter. We will see though! If I can get it on the first try, it's not the end of the world. But when I went through 25 strips in like 3 days, I was like omg this is crazy. You might want to buy a human meter for day-to-day testing because the strips are so much cheaper and save the AlphaTrak for vet curves. My Squallie would run from me when he knew it was test time, too. As soon as he saw that kit come out he'd take off. It's only recently that he's started actually coming to me for testing time. Some days he's a little reluctant, but most days he's pretty eager. I always test him in the same spot, and I give him his favorite treat when we're finished; that's the ONLY time he gets that particular treat, so it's special and he knows he'll get it when the test is done.I just kind of go to where she is laying at. Lately it's been in her bed or in the sunroom on this specific rug. I have been going and cuddling up to her and giving her so much love everywhere in the house too lol. This morning just made me so sad.. she wouldn't even come out for her favorite treats!! Just glaring at me like "why are you doing this to me"my poor baby
But tonight I will give her the regular dosing and consider the one from today as a fur shot. Full curve tomorrow, I'll let you all know how it goesthank you!!!
