I've picked up on most of the phrases used here, but what in the heck are the 5 P's? I am dying to know! :-D

Also, how did the term 'condo' come about? At first I thought it was 'convo', like in 'conversation', but then saw it was really 'condo' with a D.

Happy Sunday morning everyone! ~O)

Welcome to FDMB.

Glossary of terms is here: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=15885

5Ps, I don't think that's in there, it's an end of life question for us to ask ourselves when we're not sure about our kitty's quality of life. Check for Peeing, Pooping, Purring, Preening, Playing

Condo, that's Lantus Insulin Support Group specific, for the amount of cats that are posted daily, keeping your posts/questions to one thread per day is easier, link to your post from the previous day with each new daily thread makes advice giving even better for them. Not sure how "condo" got started, but it's a cute friendly way of starting a thread. You have enough to deal with in the beginning, so to me, some cuteness is good to lighten the mood. I believe the Lantus ISG also has a link about terms they use specifically.

I'd like to think "condo" comes from "kitty condo" or the things they put cats in when they are being boarded or enclosed? The cat version of kenneling. Dogs go into kennels and cats go into condos, maybe?
