I have finally found a wonderful vet! She specializes in cats, she loves home testing, and this is what she recommended: up his dose of Prozinc to .75 for six cycles (is that six days?). Then we go up to 1U. After a week of the 1 U, she wants me to do a home curve and send her the information, nothing whatsoever about bringing him in to have his curve done. How rare is that! She knows I lost Maggie to a brutal hypo event, and is just as focused on boosting my confidence after dealing with that. I am so thrilled with her, I feel he is in excellent hands. She’s in her 30’s, so won’t be retiring anytime soon, I think I have found my forever vet. And as if all of that weren’t enough, her prices are significantly less then the vets I’ve been going to. His new dosage begins tomorrow. So, is six cycles six days? TIA! Doing my happy dance!
