New to Lantus

Hi,

After 6 weeks on Prozinc, my Rudy will be changing to Lantus and I have a few basic questions.

I just wanted to see where folks get their pens and needles from. How much are you paying for the Lantus? Which needles do I use?

Trying to make this as cost effective and easy as possible.

I get mine (Lantus) from CVS pharmacy here in northern New jersey... for $80.94 for one pen (for almost 2 years now)... one pen usually lasts for 2 to 3 months...

The first time I went in with the prescription they were hesitant to sell one pen at a time... I just told them that the prescription was just for one pen... never had a problem since.

The Syringes I use are... Monoject Ultra Comfort U-100 with Half-Unit Markings, 31 Gauge and Short Needle (5/16", 8mm)… from ADW Diabetes… for about $16.85 for a box of 100… standard shipping is $3.95… and they ship out the same day... Just found a 10% off discount code … MISSU10
