As the subject said,
Controlling sugar for two years in this old boy.. Just started home testing. Decided to come to the boards for better help then the Vet likes to give. (sad but true :YMSIGH: )

Thanks to all who have contributed to this data base! I don't know if Ill be posting much but will be using the data already here to the best of my ability. This user knows how to search and use forums :-D

Thanks again,

Welcome to the board.

Hello Justin,

Well done, you, for starting to hometest! That is probably the single most important tool in helping your sugar kitty. What is his name BTW?

Yes, DO have a search through the forums. But if you have any questions please do ask. Sometimes there is no substitute for specific advice tailored to your kitty's needs.

Welcome aboard!

Hi and welcome! :YMHUG:

If you haven't already read it here, "giving insulin without testing is like driving with a bag over your head," so great job on being proactive!

And don't hesitate to ask any questions. Sometimes the answers aren't so easy to search for, especially if you don't even know what your not looking for.

ECID (Every Cat Is Different), so there might also be something that only you've ever encountered that you might need advice with and this is also another great place for help and suggestions. (Believe me, I know this one well; I wouldn't have gotten nearly this far without people's help about Mikey's fairly unique kitten situation.)

ETA: Cross-post with Elizabeth and Bertie. UK morning vs. California evening.
