??? New territory for Bootsie - BS 110 then 115 ?

Do you normally keep kibble? Just wondering why you did if it's not part of her normal diet that you list on the signature.

Was the 115 an hour after the 110? If you had just given her LC then we could know she's done dropping. Now it might be the kibble keeping her up so hard to tell. For only three hours, you can probably test again before you leave, and if the same or up, just leave out a little LC.

110/115 are the same number within meter variance, and no where near the danger zone on a human meter. Just some nice numbers. Hang onto this dose a little longer.

Wendy - I have the DM kibble as when she was newly diagnosed it was the food the vet’s staff recommended to feed her. That was before I found this site and became well educated on all the different foods and why LC food is important for cats with diabetes. She was ok until I got home and retested - she was 163. I guess I never really know what to expect with her numbers since she is still all over the board and the cabergoline does not seem to be working quite as it has for others - at least not yet.

And what you suggested was exactly what I did - I tested before I left and left out some LC food.
