Now to give you all an idea of size..Bert is 15lbs and Angel is a Maine Coon mix and 12lbs. The afghan they are laying on is on a full size bed. Now remember Mari is only approximately 12-15weeks old. This is about the age that most people bring their kittens home at..She's still got A LOT of growing to do yet. @-)

I don't think so unless its waaaay back in her lineage because she doesn't have any of physical characteristics...no ear tuffs, no tufts between the toes, no big plumey tail, even her coat isn't very long its more plushy than long. Although kitten coat isn't always the same length as adult coat.

She's a character...Butterfly fits her purrfectly as she is a flighty as a butterfly. lol

She is okay with me and most of the time I can pet her now but she is still terrified of men although she's getting better with daddy. He can touch her if she's on the bed or waiting to be fed, otherwise she takes off like her tail is on fire. We think she was possibly abused by a man.

She loves to watch t.v. and is starting to join in the living room at night so she can sit in front of the t.v. She reminds me of a kid watching Saturday morning cartoons. lol

What a beautiful girl! How much does she weigh currently? Maybe she's just a fast grower like my Henry. I got Henry at 4 months old and just under 5 pounds. By 6 months, he was already 7 pounds. By 8 months, he stopped growing and reached his current weight of around 8-9 pounds.
 
I honestly don't know as while I can pet her, and occasionally pick her up, I can't move with her in my arms. Guess we'll find out in a couple months when she goes back to the vet to be spayed.
