2/5 I became a member just today. My name is Kathy and my diabetic cat's name is Sherlock. My Sherlock, unlike the famous detective and a few other Sherlocks, is a female. Occasionally, I call her Sherly, but my youngest child who named the cat, does not like my calling her Sherly. Besides that, other pertinent information about Sherlock is that she has two siblings that also live with us. They are all 13.5 years old, and all have had at least one significant health event. Sherlock's event was her going into ketoacidosis, which led to her diabetes diagnosis. I'm happy to say she is doing quite well on glargine insulin.
