My name is Rhonda. My sugar baby is 11 yr Boo. She was diagnosed March of this year. She on Glargine .50unit 2x daily. She eats wet Wellness Core Turkey and Duck. 5.3oz can. She was also diagnosed with a tumor or mass on her thyroid June of this year. Waiting on a surgery date to have it removed. So I Guess Boo is not really having a good year. But she's tough and a fighter.

I’m sorry Boo has a tumour. Hope it can be removed successfully.

I can tell you the best way to look after a diabetic cat.
Use a good insulin….which you are. Glargine is a great cat insulin. How are you deciding on what is the best dose?
Feed a low carb canned food. Here is our FOOD CHART for you to look at
Hometesting the blood glucose to ensure Boo stays safe and you can see how well the dose is working. Just testing every so often at the vet is not the best way to see this… so much can happen even in a day.

It is not hard, just takes a few days to get the hang of it, and Boo will not hate you. It is much cheaper than having to vet visits all the time
