You can feed over the counter, low carb foods, such as Fancy Feast Classic pates and Friskies pates. For terrific information on feline nutrition, go to

For routine feeding, anything with under 10% calories from carbohydrates is fine. For times when you might need to bring the glucose up, snag a couple of cans of Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers, plus some Karo syrup.
We don't advocate dry food, as it puts a strain on the kidneys, and is very calorie concentrated, often leading to obesity. If your cat is difficult to change foods, switching first to Evo Cat and Kitten dry, or Young Again 0 Carb (internet only) or Epigen 90, switched in gradually to avoid GI upsets, may be a good first step to do.

Add location: city, state,country
Any other details you'd like to put in there
Then Click on Submit to save it.
