New kittens - food choices / concerned about OTJ Goodie

Hi,

We are in the process of rescouing 2 Kittens (8 weeks). While looking at the Binky charts I can see that the Wellness Kitten can food has 5 carbs compered to the FF Tender beef we feed Goodie.
The dry Wellness Kitten is 26 carbs as opposed to the Wellness Core (which Goodie eats as treats - really like an 1/8 cup) which is 11 carbs. I am concerned about Goodie getting into the kitten food and vice versa. How bad is it to feed the kittens the higher protein adult cat food, and not as much as the kitten food???

It's been a long time since I've had kittens (well not me personally) :lol:


Hope this helps, but hopefully others with recent kitten experiences will pop in.
