new insulin

Im about ready to open a new pen for insulin,question is can i give her new insulin in am and finish old bottle of insulin on pm cycle?? O)nly reason i ask is i know new insulin will be stronger and im starting a new job tomorrow night and would be more comfy knowing she on older weaker insulin. thx!!

I'd do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. I don't see why you can't give the new first and the older second. If it's weaker it's the same as giving a lower dose.

I think that's fine, it shouldn't be a problem.

If your "old" vial was till working it should be the same.... if your unsure I would use the new one first as @Kris & Teasel said...
but like @Squalliesmom said either way you should be ok (unless old vial was expired)
