New here! Need some advice on dosing !

Since we have started Lantus almost 2 weeks ago his numbers seem to be going up. Usually around 17-22. He is on .5 units right now. When do I know when it's OK to give 1 unit instead of .5 ?

We increase .25 increments. Would increase to .75. Please read the yellow stickies at the top of this forum and decide on which dosing method you want to follow, TR or SLGS.

If you can get the occasional test in the PM cycle, that would be great. He sees a blue PS every now and then and I wonder if some lows are being missed at night and he bounces higher in the day.

Good luck with the increase to 0.75U! :-)
