I am undertaking an urgent foster situation for a 12 year old diabetic cat. This site was recommended to me for help with any questions or concerns that may come up. I've dealt with diabetic dogs before, and as a registered nurse I've dealt with numerous diabetic people. I've already got a number of pointers from a friend who is an experienced diabetic foster, and I have a case manager through the rescue, but I like to have as many resources as possible. This is not my first foster experience, but it is my first time dealing with a diabetic cat.
