New Food Advice

Comet has just started eating in his own again which is great, but we are needing to potentially get him new food. There is so much information out there about what the best wet food for diabetic kitties is it's a little overwhelming. The vet wanted us to have him on kitten food and at the time the only one I could find was fancy feast which luckily he will eat but only the ocean white fish flavor. I have seen a lot about fancy feast classic but as I said I am really unsure what food I should be getting him I could use some advice.

I am so glad he's eating on his own! You could begin by mixing in just a little of another Fancy Feast flavor into the variety he will eat and see if that works. There are many of the Fancy Feast classics and some of them are fish/seafood varieties. Check the food chart HERE .
Filter for the brand and you will see the different flavors. It's good to try to alternate the fishy ones with other flavors. Friskies pates are another good low carb choice, as well as Tiki Cat and Weruva. Depends on what he will eat, if you want to buy from the grocery store, a pet store or order online.
