I found this by accident today when I was looking up urinary tract problems for a friend.

Dr. Lisa put together a food nutritional value chart that appears to be more up-to-date than all of the others, including Hobo's Guide. It even includes Friskies information, and you know how hard it is to get updated information from Purina/FF/Friskies!

Anyway, go here, and either look for the hyperlink to "chart" in the body copy text, or look in the right column under Feline Nutrition/Protein-Fats-Carbs. These downloadable .pdf file charts are dated 9-22-12.

Maybe someone had already posted about this, but I'd rather be redundant than have people miss this. I know that this information was crucial to me when Pumbaa was first diagnosed, and I was trying to find current information on nutritional values.

Thanks, Suze! I was pleased to see my Wellness flavors stayed the same; unfortunately, all of the Friskies Pate' had increased in carbs...hmmm....I get SO tired of having to re-evaluate foods and charts. Can't at least one company just make an all-around good food? I know...I ask for the moon...

Thanks, again, for posting this -

Libby, I know exactly what you mean. Unfortunately, I fear that carbs are increased in order for the companies to decrease production costs. Fortunately, I've been feeding my guys the Friskies Special Diet foods, and those carbs only went up 1%.

BTW, Carl let me know that this was posted in Health by Dr. Lisa towards the end of September. I want to go back and read the discussions on those threads.
