After vlad had been in remission for months, the first signs he might be kicked out of remission were him peeing outside the box. I thought UTI, docs didn't look into it at the time, just said it was his diabetes. Fast forward a month and he's just peed blood. Doc says there are white and red blood cells, and some yet to be identified bacteria.
He's already on Clavamox for a dental infection (getting him ready for a dental cleaning/extraction), he's been on that for 2 days now, before the blood in the pee bit. Doc says stay the course and see if the Clavamox helps. I'm curious about giving him D-mannose. I've used it in the past with no problems. She's concerned about using Clavamox with the D-mannose. I haven't seen any literature on any interference with using both together. Any experience out there with using D-mannose alongside Clavamox or another antibiotic? I would love to get this uti fixed asap.
