? New Cat Big John - N insulin 255 preshot this 8am

    Big John ate about half his breakfast an hour ago at 7am - then tested at 255 - his dose is supposed to be 6u - I am hesitant to give full dose since he was at 146 last evening at 6pm and I gave no shot. I have no other history on him. What should I do? He has been a grazer and free-fed before I got him just yesterday. Thanks for any help!
